Free Art Programs! (Updated)Heya all!
So after doing the whole contest thing, it's come to my attention that some of you are still using MS paint in order to make drawings.
Now, MS paint isn't *bad*, per-say... but it is very limited and bare-bones in its drawing capabilities.
SO, real quick while I'm eating dinner, I figured I'd share some free resources with you all.
Compared to MS paint, these art programs are much more powerful, and come with many more tools - I'd definitely encourage you to experiment with them, as they don't cost a thing.
Here are just a handful of free art programs that I know about, in no particular order:
Photoshop's ugly cousin, twice removed.
Solid all-around (coloring, inking, sketching, ect). Very friendly interface. Lots of tutorials. Highly recommended, as freeware goes.
Great for inking - not so g

Dust blanketed the ruins of your once beloved city, its tiny particles dancing within the sun's rising amber beams that peeked out behind the remaining crumbling buildings. The chaos surrounding your figure seemed to progress in slow motion; all voices fuzzy and muted, people running by blurred and vague. A sharp pain pierced through your body as you touched a small gash running parallel to your right eyebrow. Dropping your hand into your line of vision, you remained in silent shock as you wiped the mixture of warm burgundy blood and thick gray ash onto your pant leg. You sat up slowly, surveying the scene around you in attempt to make sense of the utter turmoil infecting the streets like a plague.
A nurse lifted her head from where she kneeled, crimson hands applying pressure to the neck of a boy who's hand was being held by a horrified woman. The nurse's yelled comma

Ciel Phantomhive x Reader: Chess Games
"Checkmate." The girl grinned to herself as she sipped her tea, leaving the blue-eyed male stunned.
"What? How? Fine." Ciel moved his king, and ended up trapped between her knight and pawn.
"Ha! I win Ciel!" A grumble left his lips as he began to sulk, dismayed by the sudden loss.(Y/n) pranced around the office in joy, shouting "I win!"
"You don't need to rub it in my face, love." The boy shrunk into his chair, the frown never leaving his lips.
"But I won Ciel! I won!"
"You're beginning to act like Elizabeth..."
"YES! YES! YES! And this was my third win as well!"
"Ugh." Ciel closed his eyes as he massaged his temples, trying to remember on what he did wrong."
"I shouldn't have moved my king," He muttered to himself.
"Nothing. Why don't we play another game, my dear (y/n)?" A smirk was adorned onto his lips.
"Oh it's on, love."
"NO!!" Ciel pounded his fists onto the wooden desk, causing the tea in his teacup to splash.
Dean Winchester x Reader: Just Kiss Already!
"No, (y/n). You can't love both Pop music and Classic Rock," Dean emphasized as he walked beside her down the side walk. They, along with Sam and Cas, had just finished eating dinner at a diner and were on their way back to the hotel they checked into for the night. The city they were at currently had some incidences that pointed towards the supernatural. (y/n) knew something was wrong, and somehow managed to convince stubborn Dean to investigate. Castiel and Sam knew better than to think twice about the woman's intuitions. She was almost right every time. It baffled them that Dean didn't have complete trust in her yet, considering she started helping them a year ago. Something was off, and it bothered Sam.
After some snooping around, he figured out why Dean acted so macho around (y/n). His brother liked her. A lot. Sam didn't bring it up to Dean, letting things run their course between the two. Castiel knew (y/n) had feelings for Dean, too, noticing how she

You blink your eyes, trying to keep them open as your alarm clock blares in your ears. You groan turning your body to the window only to be greeted by the sunrise shining into your glossy (e/c) eyes, you sigh and sit up. you turn off the alarm and lay back down 'I'll only be a little late, it'll be fine.' you think to yourself as you doze off back to sweet serenity.
You groan as you hear your phone having a seizure on your nightstand, you quickly grab it after it stops and notice 8 missed calls before you could read who they were from, it begins buzzing again and the name '(insert your friend's name here)' shows up. You quickly answer it as they've obviously called 9 times now.
"Hello?" you say in a low groggy voice from still being half asleep.
"Please tell me you're on your way." they say in hopeful voice
"Oh shit..." you mutter and look at your alarm clock and realize that you slept way in.

As a maid at the Phantomhive household, you have to do cleaning. And I hate cleaning most of all, why did I even choose this job? That huge giant Michaelis took me in, and told me that I should work as maid, and protect his master, and by return I will be offered protection. The past I had was pretty tragic, but I learnt how to use medieval swords, and they are awesome! It's like a stick, a heavy stick, that slices anything in it's way, and I like that. It's been three months since I was chosen for the job, and all I ever did was cleaning. I helped Mey-Rin with the plates a few times, but once I was the one to break a few. At least I didn't break 50 plates like Mey-Rin, but probably just 5 or 6 plates. I was lucky, you can say.
After cleaning the kitchen, that was "accidentally" exploded, I sat on the counter. I know I should be cleaning somewhere right now, but I just need a break. I fixed the brick
Under The Moon (Ciel x Reader) The (L/n) family manor was fairly busy that day. Servants were rushing from place to place trying to get everything ready for that night's ball. It was the birthday of the young mistress and her parents had invited many to celebrate that night with them. Both family and friends were expected to come and her parents wanted nothing more than to give their only daughter the best birthday she ever had. (Y/n) however, did not care for the grand party your parents were throwing. Of course you were thankful, but, you did not like being the center of attention much and not to mention your social skills were not the best. You would not have minded a small party but you knew how your parents were. So, you just had to try your best and try to survive through the lavish party your parents had prepared.
Although you were not looking forward to the party as much, you were secretly happy to see the Earl of Phantomhive once more. It has been several months since you ha

"Just make things easier for yourself and confess already you filthy brat." Levi told you as he held you by the hair, so that you were looking at him. His face was void of emotion, but his grey eyes held disgust and pure hatred toward you. You would understand why, you had turned out to be accomplice of the person who killed his whole squad. Speaking of which, after being in the same location with Annie, the Survey Corps had knocked you out and when you woke up you weren't there anymore. Apparently they wanted you and Annie separated. You didn't know where they brought you, much less where Annie was now.
Even so, just as it was since the first day t
Time (Eleventh Doctor!Reader x Various SNK) I was falling. Or was it crashing? Either way, I wasn't in the best position. I grabbed onto the railing near the console, holding myself up as best as I could. Suddenly, we made heavy contact with the ground and I lost my grip, falling deeper into the depths of the TARDIS.
Quickly, I swam to the surface only to discover I was in the library… and the swimming pool.
Somehow I managed to find a grappling hook amongst the smoking and destroyed TARDIS, and I shot straight up, hooking on to the front door, I started pulling myself up.
I was totally soaked and for some reason I really felt like having an apple.
Once at the top, my eyes landed on a group of three kids, no older than ten years old. Each looked at me with wide eyes.
“Can I have an apple?” I asked, “All I can think about – apples. I love apples. Maybe I'm having a craving. That's new. I've never had cravings before. Look at that.”
“Uh… are you alright?” asked t
The Book of Mysteries Chapter 1 England Part 1 The sun smiled down on the girl laying on the front lawn. (Y/n). She was asleep under the sun’s hypnotic rays, urging her to keep sleeping. The grass swayed in a trance. A sigh was heard. (y/n)’s friend, Alha Geha, went to wake her up. “(y/n)! Wake up! I need you to run an errand for me!” (y/n)’s eyes open to see a hazy image of her friend Alha. “Alha…?”
“Hurry and wake up!” (y/n) groaned out a “fine”. “Be back before dinner though okay, (y/n)?”
“Alright, alright.” She decided to walk to the market. It wasn’t that far anyways.
(y/n) wandered around the market trying to find the things she needed. “Next on the list is…cheese.” She looked at the clock.
(y/n) shook her head and went to find the cheese. As she went to grab one something hairy brushed against her foot. “Ahh!” S
